Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems integrating qubit processors, cryogenic controls, and classical computing interfaces
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations by 2026
- Design hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum hardware standardization
- Translate quantum computing requirements into system specifications
- Validate system performance through quantum simulation and benchmarking
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 5+ years experience in quantum hardware/software architecture
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction codes
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum processors
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
