You'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry pioneers to develop fault-tolerant quantum architectures, optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications, and establish industry standards for quantum-safe communications. Our Austin hub features state-of-the-art cryogenic labs and a 10,000 sq ft quantum testbed.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures supporting 100+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum network protocols enabling secure intercontinental quantum communication
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum-classical hybrid system integration
- Establish quantum security frameworks for 2026's digital infrastructure
- Drive R&D for quantum error correction and topological qubit stabilization
- Architect scalable quantum cloud services with 99.999% uptime guarantees
- Partner with governments to define national quantum technology roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum hardware/software architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC codes)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Demonstrated experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Certification in quantum cryptography (e.g., QKD systems)
- Experience with HPC cluster management and quantum-classical co-design
