Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum network architectures supporting 100+ qubit systems
- Lead implementation of quantum-resistant cryptography protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems integration
- Develop quantum error mitigation strategies for commercial deployment
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-secure communications
- Mentor quantum engineers on emerging standards (NIST QKD, CCQC)
- Present quantum infrastructure roadmaps to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum or supercomputing infrastructure
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
- Prior experience with quantum hardware (ion traps, superconducting qubits)
- Published research in quantum information science
