Job Description
Join Nexus Innovations at the forefront of technological evolution as we build the quantum internet infrastructure for 2026. We're seeking a visionary Quantum Infrastructure Architect to design and implement next-generation communication networks that will redefine global connectivity. This role combines cutting-edge quantum physics, advanced networking, and AI-driven system optimization to create resilient, scalable architectures for the post-classical computing era.
You'll lead a cross-disciplinary team of quantum physicists, network engineers, and ML specialists to prototype solutions that overcome current limitations in quantum entanglement distribution, error correction, and cryptographic security. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity and has a proven track record of translating theoretical physics into commercial-grade infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design quantum communication protocols leveraging entanglement-based networking for global data transfer
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical infrastructure with fault-tolerant qubit integration
- Develop real-time error correction systems using AI/ML for quantum state stabilization
- Lead quantum-safe cryptographic implementations for post-quantum security standards
- Optimize quantum network latency through distributed quantum memory and repeater systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors compatible with network infrastructure
- Create quantum network simulation environments for stress-testing and validation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum information theory, entanglement distribution, and quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit) and simulation frameworks
- Experience with high-performance networking architectures and distributed systems
- Deep understanding of post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQC candidates)
- Proven ability to lead complex R&D projects with interdisciplinary teams
- Published research in quantum networking or quantum computing systems
