Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum networking architectures across distributed quantum systems
- Develop cryogenic control systems for superconducting qubits with <100mK stability
- Integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing stacks using FPGA and ASIC acceleration
- Lead quantum error correction protocol implementation for fault-tolerant operations
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor connectivity
- Create quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptographic transitions
- Research and prototype novel quantum sensing applications for industrial 4.0
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum hardware/software systems with hands-on cryogenics experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and algorithm design
- Proficiency in low-latency networking protocols and distributed quantum computing frameworks
- Publication record in quantum information science or IEEE/ACM quantum computing conferences
- Familiarity with quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, color codes)
- Strong background in electromagnetic field theory and quantum measurement techniques
