Responsibilities
- Architect and implement quantum computing hardware infrastructure including cryogenic systems and photonic networks
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing environments
- Design hybrid quantum-classical interfaces for seamless integration with legacy systems
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum-safe cryptography and post-quantum algorithms
- Optimize quantum system performance through advanced thermal management and materials science
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards for 2026 infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing or advanced cryogenic systems development
- Expertise in quantum error correction algorithms and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep knowledge of superconducting qubit technologies and photonic quantum systems
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and distributed quantum networks
