Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex computational problems in cryptography and optimization
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical software systems with fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead development of quantum error correction protocols and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to optimize software-hardware interfaces
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies into production systems
- Mentor junior quantum developers and establish best practices for quantum software engineering
- Present quantum computing innovations to C-suite executives and industry partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in software architecture with quantum computing specialization
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, and quantum complexity theory
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
