Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography.
- Bridge the gap between classical control systems and emerging quantum processors.
- Develop error mitigation and error correction strategies for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists and hardware engineers to define system requirements.
- Conduct rigorous performance benchmarking and analysis to optimize quantum circuit depth.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics (Class of 2026 preferred).
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Pennylane.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++.
