Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise clients
- Develop hybrid AI-quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and ML specialists
- Implement quantum-safe cryptographic protocols for critical infrastructure
- Research and prototype novel quantum materials and qubit technologies
- Collaborate with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
- Document architectural blueprints and performance benchmarks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum processors
- Strong background in distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Knowledge of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Security clearance eligibility or willingness to obtain
