Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for enterprise systems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing workflows for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-safe migration roadmaps
- Research emerging quantum attack vectors and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum error correction implementations
- Present quantum security frameworks to C-suite executives and government agencies
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum algorithm development best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Cryptography, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum-resistant cryptography
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq)
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm and post-quantum cryptography standards
- Published research in quantum information theory or top-tier conference proceedings
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
