Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance 2D rendering engines using WebGL, Three.js, and native Canvas API.
- Optimize rendering pipelines to achieve 60fps+ performance on a wide range of devices.
- Write and maintain complex GLSL shaders for advanced visual effects and lighting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design concepts into pixel-perfect code.
- Debug and resolve complex graphics-related performance bottlenecks.
- Stay abreast of emerging web graphics technologies and implement them into our tech stack.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure architectural integrity.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, specifically with 2D graphics.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), WebGL, and WebGL 2.0.
- Strong experience with graphics libraries such as Three.js, Babylon.js, Pixi.js, or Phaser.
- Deep understanding of computer graphics principles, including rasterization, shading models, and blending modes.
- Familiarity with C++ or C# for high-performance backend integration (e.g., Unity/Unreal exports).
- Experience with responsive design and accessibility standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
