Responsibilities
- Architect and implement complex 2D interactive tools, charts, and visualizations using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Optimize rendering pipelines for high-performance 2D graphics across mobile and desktop devices.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define interactive features and user flows.
- Ensure strict cross-browser compatibility and adherence to WCAG accessibility standards.
- Lead technical design reviews and mentor junior developers on advanced graphics techniques.
- Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks in complex animation sequences.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development with a specific focus on 2D graphics.
- Expert knowledge of HTML5 Canvas API, SVG, and related graphics libraries (e.g., Pixi.js, Konva.js).
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques, including requestAnimationFrame and offscreen canvas.
- Experience with physics engines or animation libraries is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
