Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain high-performance 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas and WebGL.
- Optimize rendering pipelines to ensure 60fps animations across mobile and desktop devices.
- Develop custom 2D physics engines and particle systems for interactive storytelling.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate high-fidelity mockups into responsive, accessible code.
- Debug complex graphical issues and implement advanced pixel manipulation techniques.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices in graphics programming.
- Research and integrate emerging libraries and techniques to stay ahead of industry trends.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a specific focus on 2D graphics.
- Deep expertise in the HTML5 Canvas API, WebGL, and CSS3 animations.
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience with 2D physics libraries (Matter.js, Box2D) and rendering libraries (PixiJS, Phaser).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience optimizing large-scale applications for performance and memory usage.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote-first or hybrid environment.
