Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable Systems: Design and implement robust, distributed machine learning pipelines capable of handling petabyte-scale data streams.
- Model Optimization: Lead efforts in model quantization, pruning, and inference optimization to ensure high-performance deployment on edge and cloud devices.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, conducting code reviews and architectural assessments to maintain high engineering standards.
- Research Integration: Translate state-of-the-art research papers in AI/ML into practical, production-ready software solutions.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the CI/CD pipeline, containerization strategies (Docker/Kubernetes), and serverless architecture to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with product leaders to define the technical vision for the 2026 roadmap, identifying emerging technologies and trends.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong focus on Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
- Programming: Expert-level proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow. Familiarity with Rust or Go is a significant plus.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of AWS, GCP, or Azure; experience with serverless architectures and managed ML services.
- System Design: Proven track record of designing complex, fault-tolerant systems at scale.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
