Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Design and oversee the development of complex, end-to-end AI/ML solutions, including data pipelines, model training infrastructure, and deployment strategies.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a team of data scientists and engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and best practices.
- Model Optimization: Continuously research and implement state-of-the-art techniques to improve model accuracy, reduce latency, and optimize resource consumption.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to define the technical roadmap and prioritize features that align with business goals.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP) specifically tailored for high-performance computing and large-scale data processing.
- Risk Management: Identify potential biases in data and models, ensuring ethical AI deployment and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years specifically focused on AI/ML architecture.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX; experience with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI frameworks.
- Infrastructure: Strong background in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to solve complex technical problems and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
