Responsibilities
- Lead the Technical Vision: Define and execute the technical roadmap for AI infrastructure to support our 2026 product strategy.
- Architect Scalable Systems: Design and deploy robust machine learning pipelines and cloud-native architectures using AWS and Kubernetes.
- Research & Development: Spearhead research into emerging AI paradigms, including generative models and reinforcement learning.
- Model Optimization: Oversee the deployment, fine-tuning, and optimization of large language models (LLMs) for production environments.
- Mentorship: Cultivate a high-performance engineering culture by mentoring junior developers and conducting technical code reviews.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for product and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 4 years focused on Machine Learning/AI.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus).
- Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems with elegant, scalable solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to diverse audiences.
