Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical risk assessment frameworks for AI deployment
- Develop bias mitigation strategies for large-scale ML models
- Conduct interdisciplinary research on emerging AI ethical challenges
- Partner with product teams to embed ethical considerations into AI lifecycle
- Create audit protocols for AI system fairness and transparency
- Advocate for ethical AI standards at industry conferences and policy forums
- Mentor junior engineers on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field
- 5+ years experience in AI/ML development or ethics governance
- Expertise in fairness metrics and bias detection algorithms
- Strong understanding of regulatory landscape (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Published research in AI ethics or responsible AI
- Experience with stakeholder engagement in technical ethics discussions
- Proficiency in Python and ML model evaluation tools
- Certification in AI Ethics or Governance preferred
