Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of scalable AI infrastructure for 2026 product lines, focusing on generative models and vector databases.
- Optimize model inference latency and reduce operational costs through advanced quantization and edge computing strategies.
- Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, security, and scalability within the AI engineering team.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and data scientists to translate complex research concepts into production-ready applications.
- Mentor junior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in Deep Learning, NLP, and reinforcement learning to ensure our tech stack remains future-proof.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years specifically focused on Machine Learning and AI systems.
- Expert proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow, with deep understanding of model training and deployment pipelines.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience designing systems for high availability, fault tolerance, and low-latency requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
