Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary Senior AI Strategist to lead our technical roadmap. You will be responsible for identifying emerging AI trends, designing robust system architectures, and guiding a world-class team of engineers and data scientists.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the technical vision for our 2026 flagship products, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, fault-tolerant AI systems capable of handling high-throughput data streams in real-time.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead a cross-functional team of ML engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Model Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize model inference speed and reduce computational costs without sacrificing accuracy.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into clear strategies for non-technical stakeholders and investors.
- R&D Collaboration: Partner with academic institutions and industry leaders to stay ahead of the curve in emerging AI methodologies.
- Compliance & Ethics: Implement rigorous testing and governance frameworks to ensure AI safety and bias mitigation.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years specifically focused on Machine Learning and AI.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow; experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of leading technical strategy from concept to deployment.
- Problem Solving: Ability to solve complex, unstructured problems and navigate ambiguity in fast-paced environments.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting to executive leadership.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership presence and the ability to mentor junior engineers effectively.
