Responsibilities
- Architect Zero Trust Solutions: Design and implement robust Zero Trust frameworks to secure our cloud-native infrastructure.
- Threat Hunting & Analysis: Proactively hunt for advanced persistent threats (APTs) and anomalies before they impact business operations.
- Incident Response Leadership: Lead major security incident response teams, conducting forensic analysis and recommending remediation strategies.
- Security Automation: Develop Python and Bash scripts to automate security monitoring, reducing manual overhead and increasing detection speed.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 standards across all departments.
- Security Awareness Training: Develop and deliver training programs to foster a culture of security awareness within the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a senior engineering or lead role.
- Certifications: CISSP, GCIH, CISM, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in network security tools (Snort, Suricata), SIEM platforms (Splunk, ELK Stack), and cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Programming: Strong scripting skills in Python or Go for automation and tool development.
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
