Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps for 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emergent technologies (quantum AI, bio-integrated systems)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs globally
- Author thought leadership publications on future societal impacts of automation
- Guide regulatory policy development for next-gen autonomous systems
- Manage $50M+ annual R&D portfolio allocation across future-tech verticals
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent transdisciplinary expertise
- 10+ years in strategic foresight roles with Fortune 500 tech innovators
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals on technological forecasting
- Proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategy pivots
- Portfolio demonstrating tangible future-tech commercialization successes
