Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and market shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate future-focused innovations into product development pipelines
- Present findings to C-suite executives and board members through compelling visual narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to expand foresight capabilities
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-functional foresight communities
- Produce annual '2026 Tech Horizon' report for industry stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented product development
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience working with C-suite executives in Fortune 500 environments
- Global perspective on sustainability and societal impact trends
