Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the '2026 Horizon Forecast' - a comprehensive strategic framework mapping technological, economic, and societal trajectories
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Author high-impact trend reports and whitepapers published in industry-leading journals
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for emerging market opportunities identified through foresight analysis
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior futurists and establish the company's methodology for trend analysis and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of publishing influential future-oriented research or methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (e.g., quantum computing, neurotech, climate adaptation)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate technological and social signals
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Experience advising C-level executives on long-term strategic pivots
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prediction of market-defining trends
