As a thought leader in our Future Horizons division, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research pioneers, and global disruptors to map emerging trends, anticipate paradigm shifts, and transform insights into actionable roadmaps. Your work will directly shape product roadmaps, investment strategies, and organizational evolution in an era of unprecedented technological acceleration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Technology Horizon Scan, identifying disruptive trends across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership, translating complex futures into strategic imperatives
- Establish cross-functional innovation pipelines with R&D, product, and investment teams
- Author forward-looking white papers and thought leadership pieces for industry forums
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and startup founders
- Quantify future market opportunities using predictive modeling and data analytics
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
