Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market trends with 3-5 year impact potential
- Develop and maintain comprehensive innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 strategic objectives
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Manage cross-functional teams executing breakthrough R&D projects in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global industry conferences
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Drive cultural transformation to embed futuristic thinking across all business units
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate trends into coherent narratives
- PhD or Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across global markets
- Strong proficiency in data-driven trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
