Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological shifts
- Develop actionable innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and strategic pivots
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions
- Author thought leadership reports for industry conferences
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technology adoption
- Mentor junior futurists and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major media
- Experience with scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences
