Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and geopolitical trends to forecast industry disruptions through 2030
- Develop and maintain Horizon's innovation framework, translating foresight into strategic roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation team
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Monitor ethical implications of emerging technologies and ensure responsible innovation
- Author thought leadership content and represent the company at global forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful commercial initiatives
- Deep expertise in AI, biotech, quantum computing, or sustainability technologies
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Experience managing budgets and innovation pipelines exceeding $5M
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite decisions
