Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts with 5-10 year impact
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for product innovation and market positioning
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and risk mitigation strategies
- Author trend reports and whitepapers published in industry-leading journals
- Partner with engineering teams to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Represent 2026 Labs at global innovation conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial products
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology roadmapping, and systemic thinking
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and research methodologies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation
- Experience with AI/ML applications in trend forecasting and predictive analytics
