Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 markets
- Develop quantitative and qualitative forecasting models for emerging industries
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops for C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Create scenario-planning frameworks to prepare for multiple future outcomes
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product development roadmaps
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation hubs
- Present findings to executive leadership through compelling visual narratives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in innovation strategy, R&D, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of successfully predicting market shifts and technological disruptions
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning techniques
- Strong data visualization skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and board members
