Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and prioritize emerging technologies with 2026-2030 impact
- Architect long-term innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption
- Conduct horizon scanning across quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Facilitate executive workshops to translate future scenarios into strategic imperatives
- Manage a portfolio of moonshot projects with $5M+ annual innovation budget
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for next-generation technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-functional innovation networks
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Published research in peer-reviewed futures/technology journals
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects with measurable outcomes
