Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify and validate disruptive technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder engagements to embed future-thinking across organizational strategy
- Champion rapid prototyping and experimental initiatives to validate emerging opportunities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
- Author thought leadership publications and present at premier industry conferences
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial innovations
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills with C-suite executives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-oriented projects with measurable impact
- Deep understanding of global megatrends and their sector-specific implications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
