Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year foresight initiatives mapping technological and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop scenario-based frameworks for AI, biotech, and climate adaptation disruptions
- Produce executive-grade trend reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with stakeholders to embed foresight into business strategy
- Establish quantitative/qualitative models to forecast market evolution and disruption vectors
- Represent the company at global futures conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced methodology and stakeholder engagement
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic foresight frameworks
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend impact analysis
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futures journals or industry publications
- Experience advising executive leadership boards on strategic adaptation to uncertainty
