Responsibilities
- Analyze global trends, technological shifts, and socio-economic indicators to forecast 2026 industry landscapes
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategic foresight framework with quarterly horizon scanning reports
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify opportunities and threats in emerging markets
- Partner with R&D to prioritize innovation investments aligned with 2026 technology adoption curves
- Design and execute disruption-prevention strategies for core business units
- Present actionable insights to executive leadership and board members through compelling visual narratives
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal future-thinking culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy with measurable ROI
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Portfolio of 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
