Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for product roadmaps and investment portfolios
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and risk mitigation
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario planning documents for executive leadership
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into actionable innovation pipelines
- Monitor geopolitical and macroeconomic indicators affecting long-term strategy
- Mentor junior futurists and build institutional foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/CF foresight certification) strongly preferred
