Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for enterprise clients navigating post-2025 market shifts
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions using generative AI and simulation modeling
- Present trend analysis and scenario planning to C-suite executives and board members
- Author whitepapers on emerging tech ethics and regulatory frameworks for 2026
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive analytics and trend synthesis methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI safety, climate tech, or biotech convergence
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical field
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (peer-reviewed journals or industry forums)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Impact Assessment preferred
- Experience working with federal innovation initiatives (e.g., CHIPS Act, NSF Future Systems programs)
