Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks for product roadmaps and market expansion
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and risk mitigation for future business environments
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on emerging industry paradigms
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions aligned with long-term vision
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to test and validate future business models
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and industry foresight forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic modeling
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Published work in foresight journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Experience leading cross-geographic innovation teams
