Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotechnology, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership and board members
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global conferences
- Partner with R&D teams to validate future-focused innovation pipelines
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory developments affecting technological adoption
- Mentor junior strategists and build a future-focused analytical framework
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven track record of developing credible future scenarios that influenced business strategy
- Expertise in quantitative forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published author or frequent speaker at futurism/innovation forums
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and research databases
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major foresight projects with measurable outcomes
