Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps with measurable milestones for 2026 product launches
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and C-suite stakeholders
- Author forward-looking white papers and scenario-planning frameworks for investor and board presentations
- Manage a $10M innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI tracking and pivot protocols
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight intelligence network
- Represent company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership in top-tier publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful large-scale innovation initiatives with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, SWOT analysis, and trend impact modeling
- Deep technical literacy across emerging technologies with ability to translate complex concepts
- Proven ability to influence executive decision-making through data-driven storytelling
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or equivalent tier
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS) strongly preferred
