Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology foresight strategies for 2026 market positioning
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, neurotech) and translate into commercial opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and maintain a global network of industry futurists and academic researchers
- Author high-impact thought leadership content and whitepapers
- Oversee the development of Horizon's annual FutureTech Report
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite boards and venture capital audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
