- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with transformative potential through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical, economic, and social impacts on technological adoption
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on innovation opportunities and risks
- Collaborate with product teams to commercialize next-gen solutions with 18-24 month timelines
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, industry forums, and patent filings
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3+ years market impact (patents/portfolio required)
- Expertise in exponential technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- MSc/PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Futures Studies, or related field
- Deep familiarity with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi Method)
