Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and guest services
- Develop and execute strategic plans to maximize revenue and occupancy rates
- Lead, train, and mentor department heads and frontline staff
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, health regulations, and safety protocols
- Manage budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cost control measures
- Drive guest satisfaction initiatives and handle escalated service recovery
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and partnerships
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years progressive hotel management experience in luxury properties
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and guest satisfaction metrics
- Strong leadership skills with ability to inspire high-performing teams
- Expert knowledge of hotel operations, PMS systems, and industry best practices
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Virginia hospitality management certification preferred
