Responsibilities
- Lead IoT Strategy: Design and architect scalable IoT ecosystems for smart stadiums, including sensor networks, edge computing nodes, and data transmission protocols.
- System Integration: Integrate IoT data streams with real-time analytics platforms and visualization dashboards for fan engagement.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system health and optimize data pipelines to handle high-traffic loads during major events.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with civil engineers, software developers, and product managers to deliver seamless technical solutions.
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive infrastructure data and user privacy.
- Roadmap Development: Define technical roadmaps for future stadium upgrades and smart city integrations beyond 2026.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in IoT engineering, embedded systems, or large-scale infrastructure development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++; strong understanding of MQTT, CoAP, and RESTful APIs.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep experience with AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT.
- DevOps: Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex engineering challenges under tight deadlines.
