Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure Python backend services.
- Architect microservices to handle high-traffic, low-latency requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, and design) to define and deliver software features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while conducting thorough code reviews.
- Optimize application performance and database queries to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Identify technical risks and propose innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with modern ORMs (e.g., SQLAlchemy).
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or GCP, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, web architecture, and asynchronous programming.
- Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
