Responsibilities
- Architect Quantum Algorithms: Design and optimize quantum machine learning (QML) algorithms to run efficiently on near-term quantum processors.
- Roadmap Execution: Lead the technical strategy for our 2026 product roadmap, ensuring feasibility and scalability of quantum solutions.
- Hardware Integration: Collaborate directly with hardware engineers to integrate AI models with emerging quantum hardware architectures.
- Model Optimization: Utilize techniques such as variational quantum eigensolvers (VQE) to improve model convergence and accuracy.
- Research & Development: Stay at the forefront of quantum physics and AI research, publishing papers and contributing to the scientific community.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and deep technical curiosity.
Qualifications
- Advanced Degree: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing or Machine Learning.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience with Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Pennylane.
- Mathematical Background: Strong understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems.
- Experience: Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms or working on quantum-classical hybrid systems.
- Problem Solving: Ability to tackle complex, ill-defined problems with creative and analytical solutions.
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
