Job Description
Join the Pioneers of the Post-Silicon Era
Nexus Horizon Labs is at the forefront of defining the technological landscape of 2026 and beyond. We are seeking a visionary Senior Quantum AI Research Scientist to lead our R&D division in bridging the gap between classical machine learning and quantum computing. In this role, you will architect algorithms that solve complex problems currently considered computationally intractable.
You will work in a high-performance environment with world-class engineers and scientists, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in artificial general intelligence (AGI) and quantum error correction. This is not just a job; it is an opportunity to shape the future of humanity's technological trajectory.
Responsibilities
- Architect Hybrid Algorithms: Design and implement quantum-enhanced machine learning models that leverage quantum superposition and entanglement for superior processing power.
- Quantum Error Correction: Develop robust error mitigation strategies to ensure algorithmic stability in noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) environments.
- Roadmap Planning: Define the technical roadmap for our 2026 AI infrastructure, ensuring scalability and interoperability with existing cloud ecosystems.
- Collaborative Innovation: Partner with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, and data science) to translate theoretical research into production-ready prototypes.
- Publication & Mentorship: Lead research initiatives that result in peer-reviewed publications and mentor junior researchers in quantum mechanics and AI.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing or Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of research experience in quantum algorithms or advanced machine learning (e.g., Deep Reinforcement Learning, Transformers).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or TensorFlow Quantum.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle abstract theoretical problems and translate them into practical engineering solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
