Responsibilities
- Algorithm Development: Design, implement, and optimize quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and simulation tasks.
- System Architecture: Architect scalable quantum software stacks that integrate seamlessly with classical control systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Error Correction: Develop and implement robust error correction protocols to maintain qubit fidelity in noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) environments.
- Collaboration: Partner with experimental physicists to define hardware requirements that facilitate better software performance.
- Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum systems to ensure reliability and performance benchmarks are met.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation and white papers to share our findings with the global scientific community.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on quantum computing or advanced mathematical modeling.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, C++, or Qiskit/Cirq with a deep understanding of quantum circuit theory.
- Technical Skills: Solid grasp of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems theory.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to tackle abstract problems and translate them into concrete, executable code.
