Job Description
Shape the Infrastructure of Tomorrow
Nexus Horizon Labs is pioneering the next generation of computational power. As we transition into the 2026 era of technology, we are seeking a visionary Senior Quantum Systems Architect to lead our research into scalable quantum computing. You will be the bridge between theoretical physics and deployable software, designing systems that redefine what is possible in data processing and cryptography.
In this role, you will work with a world-class team of physicists and engineers to build hybrid classical-quantum architectures. We are looking for someone who is not just comfortable with the future, but is actively building it.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable quantum circuits and hybrid systems integrating classical computing with quantum processors.
- Develop and implement advanced error mitigation and quantum error correction protocols to ensure system stability.
- Translate complex quantum mechanical concepts into high-performance software using Python, Qiskit, or Cirq.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize Quantum Processing Unit (QPU) utilization and resource allocation.
- Lead the integration of quantum algorithms into our cloud-native infrastructure platforms.
- Conduct research on post-quantum cryptography and future-proofing our data security protocols.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-performance computing or advanced algorithm design.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and information theory.
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil) and languages (Python, C++).
- Strong background in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with fault-tolerant quantum architecture is highly preferred.
