Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices for distributed AI systems using Go/Python
- Lead Kubernetes deployments with Istio service mesh on AWS/GCP
- Optimize ML pipelines for real-time data processing at 99.99% SLA
- Collaborate with quantum computing teams for hybrid algorithm development
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Contribute to open-source projects under Apache 2.0/MIT licenses
- Define CI/CD strategies for GitOps-based infrastructure
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in distributed systems with 3+ in AI/ML deployment
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Strong background in cloud-native architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Proficiency in at least one functional language (Haskell, Scala, or Erlang)
- Published research in edge computing or quantum algorithms preferred
- Experience with Terraform/Ansible infrastructure-as-code
- CS degree from ABET-accredited institution or equivalent experience
