As the Shift Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our daily operations, ensuring seamless service and maintaining our high standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations and ensure smooth check-in/check-out procedures.
- Manage staff scheduling and shift assignments to maintain optimal coverage during peak hours.
- Resolve complex guest inquiries and complaints with diplomacy and efficiency.
- Enforce strict health, safety, and cleanliness protocols across the property.
- Train and mentor new employees on service standards, policies, and software systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness.
- Handle cash handling and POS transactions with 100% accuracy.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality, hotel management, or customer service.
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of motivating diverse teams.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- High school diploma or GED required; prior supervisory experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure.
