As a Front Desk Agent, you are responsible for the seamless operation of the front desk, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, and answering inquiries with a smile.
Responsibilities
- Guest Check-In & Check-Out: Efficiently process reservations, verify identity, and issue room keys using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Front Desk Operations: Answer incoming calls, manage emails, and assist with luggage storage or valet coordination.
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly, address concerns immediately, and resolve complaints to ensure 5-star service standards.
- Information Desk: Provide accurate information about local attractions, dining options, and transportation in Austin.
- Financial Transactions: Handle cash, credit card payments, and process charges accurately at the end of each shift.
- Mail & Messages: Collect and distribute mail, faxes, and packages for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous front desk or hospitality experience is preferred but not required (we provide paid training for entry-level candidates).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demeanor: A friendly, professional, and outgoing personality with a strong customer service focus.
- Availability: Flexible availability including weekends, nights, and holidays (essential for hospitality roles).
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and typing speed required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
